What I want to talk about relates a lot with what I have done in my research. I taught in middle schools, fifth to seven grades, and I have also taught third year at university. Where I teach in El Paso, almost 40% of the population is defined in the U.S. context as living in poverty. Many of those students come to our university, many of them.
