Abstract

I analyze Vicente Huibobro's short fiction, particularly his three micro-stories, known as "Cuentos diminutos " [Diminutive stories], as illustrations' of the author's exploratory and creative engagement with this new form writing and as ground-breaking contributions to the development of the micro-cuento [micro-story] as a literary genre
