Abstract

Although Vicente Huidobro's poetic project allowed for a measure of commitment to politics previous to 1936, it is the rhetoric of antifascist propaganda during the Spanish Civil War that produced a drastic change in the political content of his poetic production. This change represents a departure from his initial Creationist poetics, which rejected any adherence to established ideologies
