Abstract

In this study I review from a historical and cultural point of view, the complex relation between the author of Horizon carré and the Cubist movement in its different manifestations. I read a number of heterogeneous texts from Huidobro's production, address some aspects of his poetic representation of Pablo Picasso, reflecting on the strategic function of the Spanish artist in the poetic of Creationism, as well as his decisive influence on essential aspects of Huidobro's poetic art
