An ecocritical reading of Huidobro's texts

Abstract

Vicente Huidobro's poetic world is built out of fragments from a variety of discourses and their respective semantic fields (science, mythology, history, biology, and others). This poetic world is characterized by the unstable balance of the heterogeneous images out of which it is composed. This balance obtains from Huidobro's concept of cosmic harmony which generates the increasing flow of his poetic writing in 'identification ' with the processes of the natural world
