A conflict of interest arises when authors, reviewers, or editors have interests that could influence the publication process, from writing to acceptance of a paper.
According to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), these interests may be personal, commercial, political, academic, or economic, including employment, research funding, stock ownership, conference fees, consultancies, and corporate support.
The journal asks authors and reviewers to declare any relevant conflicts of interest, reserving the right to reassign the review if necessary. The Editorial Committee of Anales de Literatura Chilena is committed to maintaining impartiality at all stages of the editorial process.
